Beale Park Wildlife Park and Gardens

This wildlife park and gardens on the banks of the River Thames at Pangbourne. It has everything for a family day out. There are lots of charming animals to see including exotic and colourful birds, deer, wallabies, amusing Meerkats and many more. Children are spoilt for choice with several play areas including and aerial cableway for the more adventurous.

Being next to the Thames it is a great place for a picnic. During the summer there are cruises available. It is wheel chair and buggy friendly so no problem taking babies or disabled children and they have special baby-changing facilities too.

Wellington Country Park

Set in 350 acres of beautiful parklands there are several adventure play areas, a toddler’s area, sand pits, slides, miniature railway (£1.50 extra), animal farm and petting barn (seasonal), nature trail maze, enchanted forest, water play, 9 holes of crazy golf and loads of play equipment to climb on – should keep the kids happy for a while.
