Our USA Hotel Reviews
The USA seem to offer every accommodation option available. Navigating which are family friendly and stay within your budget can be a bit mind boggling. I’ve written up reviews on my favourites from around the states and will be updating this guide as we go. Hopefully you’ll find one to suit your whole family.
Family Friendly hotels in Miami
Rarely topping bucket lists of most family friendly locations in the US, Miami is actually a great place to visit with kids. You’ve just got to choose your accommodation carefully. We really enjoyed staying in the Coconut Grove neighbourhood in the historic Mayfair Hotel. Make sure you check it out if you’re wondering where to stay in Miami with kids.
Family Friendly Hotels in Key West
Key West is surely a dream destination to holiday with kids. The beaches, food and relaxed atmosphere will make you want to stay longer. Yes, it’s tough to reach but oh so worth it when you arrive. The Gates Hotel was the perfect motel style family friendly accommodation for our stay, they had an onsite pool, plenty of parking and the best food truck I’ve visited. Have a look at the Gates Hotel Key West reviews for all the info and some envy inducing pics.
Family Friendly Hotels in Boston
Boston is a fantastic city for a short family getaway. There are always great value flights available and I never feel like the flight is too long. My recommendation for where to stay in Boston has to be the Boston Park Plaza Hotel situated in the Back Bay area of the city and within walking distance to all the major sites. Have a look at this Boston Park Plaza hotel review.
Family Friendly hotels In Philadelphia
More an apartment hotel than the usual USA city centre hotels, the Windsor Suites is a great option if your visiting Philadelphia with kids. It has more space than you could possible need, the rooms include a small kitchen and the roof top pool offers a fantastic view of the city. Have a look at this Winsor Suites Philadelphia Review.
Family Friendly Hotels in Washington
I love Washington DC, the free Smithsonian museums, the wide open spaces and yes the political intrigued. So there really was only one option for us when planning where to stay. The Watergate Hotel is of course famous for its scandal but has recently transformed itself to become a luxury hotel. Yes, this one was a splurge but check out my review of the Watergate Hotel to see why it was totally worth it.
