The Castle Climbing Centre
Boasting five floors and a whopping 450 roped route of various heights the Castle Climbing in Stoke Newington will keep you entertained for hours. They cater to all ages and abilities with one off taster sessions and a youth club for kids. You can try four different types of climbing at the centre. These are Bouldering, Autobelay, Lead climbing and Top Roping. The centre will be able to advise which is best to try.
At The Castle under 18’s can climb under the supervision of an experienced adult roped climber. They must be registered and able to put on a harness, tie in using a figure eight or bowline knot and belay someone safely, using a belay device.
You will need to book online and all climbers need to register before their visit. This ensure all safety procedures can be followed.
At the Castle Climbing centre you’ll also find a handy shop and a cafe serving organic, fair trade, fresh produce.
